                                            RIVERS

YOUGHIOGHENY

The 4 1/2 miles of the catch and release can be very productive in early spring and summer and slows down in July and August. Early spring can be very good for trophy browns. My favorite time is when the Green Drake hatch is coming off. The midge and caddis hatches are very good spring and summer. I have fished the Yock for over 30 years.  I know I can show you a real good time on this beautiful river. It's one of my favorite rivers.

               LET'S
                  GO
          FLY FISHING!!!!!!!!!

NORTH BRANCH

Is one of the best fisheries on the east coast, you'll find rainbows, browns, brookies, and cutthroat. Once dead from acid mine drainage the North Branch is alive again supporting fish, and very impressive fish at that. There are three sections of the river that we float. The section below the dam is a very scenic float, while the section below the tailwater is where the cutthroat thrive, and the section below the paper mill is rainbows and browns. The last section is an 8 mile float where you can catch smallmouth and largemouth bass, which can be quite an experience on a fly rod.

WHILE FISHING FOR LARGE MOUTH AND SMALL MOUTH BASS, YOU MAY EVEN HOOK INTO A TIGER MUSKIE ON A FLOAT TRIP DOWN THE NORTH BRANCH.ON 9/13 LARRY CAUGHT A 40 INCH TIGER ON HIS FLOAT.

CASSELMAN RIVER

The casselman has spring and fall catch and release seasons, and lays in beautiful Amish country. with easy access and easy wading, it would not be uncommon to hook into a 20 inch trout on this little stream.
